Student Resources
In addition to the regular administrative services provided (i.e. program advisors, financial services etc.) there are a number of student services and resources for graduate students to use when and if required.
Campus Resources to Assist Graduate Students (PDF) - is a handy resource produced by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research.
PERGSS is the Physical Education and Recreation Graduate Students Society which has an executive and student representation on most of our Faculty councils and committees.
GSA is the Graduate Students' Association for all graduate students at the U of A and to which grad students pay annual dues. The GSA serves students across campus and provides a student voice to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research and on university committees.
There are many other student resources on campus: computing, housing, health and safety, libraries, international services etc.
If you need assistance with writing, the Centre for Writers on campus offers free writing support to

- and staff at the University of Alberta – in any subject, discipline, program, or faculty, and at all levels of study.
