Teaching Support

The University of Alberta places great emphasis and recognition on quality instruction of our undergraduate and graduate courses. 

We believe that teaching is an integral part of the professional development of our graduate students.  Our Faculty has established a Physical Activity Teaching Coordinator to assist instructors in physical activity courses and a Teaching Coordinator for those teaching theory courses.  These individuals are available to facilitate teaching feedback to instructors who request assistance.
 
Our graduate teaching assistants also have access to a number of campus-wide workshops and seminars on teaching.  These are offered by the Centre of Teaching and Learning  during the fall and winter terms at no cost.
