We encourage all students to verse themselves with the University of Alberta's Calendar. The calendar is the prime source for all information related to the admissions and registration processes, degree program structure and course sequencing.

If you are a student from outside of Canada, what we call the "calendar" may be known to you as a "prospectus" or "catalogue."

The application deadline is May 1 for September admissions. No admissions to any of our programs in winter, spring or summer terms.

Competitive admission

We strive for a quality student experience for every student, so admission to all programs in this Faculty is competitive. Even if you meet the minimum average to qualify for consideration, it does not guarantee you’ll be accepted.
